Why are some products more expensive than others?

Price at Viel & Co reflects two things: fabric specification and brand positioning. Pieces like the Cadore Jacket or the Dolomite Duffel use premium materials that cost more to source — the difference is something you feel the moment you hold them. Beyond that, Viel & Co is built as a heritage brand rooted in the Dolomites, and the pricing reflects that identity. We are not competing with fast fashion. Every piece is designed to be worn for years, not seasons.

Are there cheaper alternatives to the same products?

Almost certainly. But Viel & Co is not positioned as the cheapest option in any category — it is positioned as the right one for a specific customer. If you are looking for a polo, a fleece, or a travel bag with genuine design intent and alpine heritage behind it, that is what we offer. The price reflects what the product is, not just what it is made of.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Current delivery times are typically 2 to 3 weeks from order to arrival. Each piece is produced and dispatched through our fulfilment network, which means production time is included in that window — your order is not sitting in a warehouse waiting, it is being made for you.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on all orders over £100. Below that threshold, shipping costs vary by destination country and are calculated at checkout. We ship worldwide.

Will I receive tracking for my order?

Tracking availability depends on which fulfilment partner produces your specific item. Some orders will receive full tracking updates from dispatch to delivery. Others may have more limited visibility. If you have not received tracking details within 5 days of your order confirmation and want an update, reach out to us at info@vielco.store and we will find out where your order is.

Where do your products ship from?

We work with a network of fulfilment partners across multiple locations. Depending on the product and your destination, your order may ship from within Europe or from further afield. This is part of how we keep the range broad while maintaining quality standards — each piece is produced by a specialist partner best suited to that product type.

Are your products made in Italy?

Viel & Co is an Italian brand — designed with the Dolomites as its creative foundation. Our pieces are conceived and directed from Italy, then produced through a global network of quality fulfilment partners. We are transparent about this. The identity, the aesthetic direction, and the design language are entirely Italian. The production is distributed to ensure quality and availability across our range.

Do you have a size guide?

We do not have a full size guide published yet — this is something we are actively working on. In the meantime, our general recommendation is to order your standard size unless a product description suggests otherwise. If you are between sizes or unsure, drop us a message at info@vielco.store with the product and your measurements and we will advise you directly.

What if a product does not fit?

We handle sizing and fit issues on a case by case basis. If something arrives and the fit is not right, get in touch with us at info@vielco.store with your order number and details. We will work with you to find a solution. We want every Viel & Co piece to be worn, not left in a drawer.

Returns & Orders

Can I return or exchange an item?

Returns and exchanges are handled case by case. Because our products are produced on demand rather than held in bulk stock, we are not able to offer automatic returns in the way a traditional retailer might. That said, if there is a quality issue, a production defect, or the item is genuinely not as described, we will always make it right. Contact us at info@vielco.store with your order number and we will take it from there.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Because production begins shortly after an order is placed, changes and cancellations are only possible within a short window. If you need to amend something, contact us at info@vielco.store as soon as possible with your order number. We cannot guarantee changes can be made but we will always try.

Do you have a physical store or showroom?

Not yet. Viel & Co is currently online only. A physical presence — and closer ties to the Dolomites region we are rooted in — is part of the longer term vision for the brand. For now, the best way to experience Viel & Co is through the pieces themselves.

The name Viel belongs to the Dolomites. The brand carries that forward.
